An evening celebrating Anglo-French music featuring French singer Muriele and the Friary Brass Band. There will be an interval and a Pay Bar serving wine, beer and soft drinks for your refreshment.
The Event
The Friary Brass Band is based in Chertsey, Surrey and has firmly established itself as the premier band in the London and Southern Counties region. Ranked as one of the top bands in the world, the Band regularly performs at the highest level at concerts and contests across the country, including prestigious venues such as The Royal Albert Hall and The Glasshouse, Gateshead. www.friarybrassband.com
Muriele is a native French singer in wartime , jazz and retro songs from the 1930's onwards. As a well-established, professional singer, she is a regular performer at the Concorde Club, and at major events such as at the Southampton O2, Mansion House, festivals and private functions. www.murielefrenchsinger.com
Every ticket purchase to this event will go towards the St. Mary’s Church, Old Alresford toilet & kitchen servery building project to provide a disabled access toilet and a small kitchen servery at the back of the church. The fundraising started some time ago and has successfully raised a great deal of money, but we still need your help to meet our target.
